Amy was born in Vietnam, but moved to New York 8 years ago, to study financial engineering.

One day, while she was in Columbia University library, a thought hit her:

Did she really want to spend her life in boring suits just to be taken seriously by Wall Street bros? She'd have to play down her femininity to fit into the Big Boys' Club, and that just felt so wrong.

She quit finance and started Cosette di Ames, a safe space for women who embrace their softness without abandoning their ambitions.

Amy’s outrage turned into creative vision. “F**k it”, she said, “I’ll make a space where women can be both: feminine *and* leaders.”

A space where femininity is never a weakness.

Cosette, from chosette (French) and cosetta (Italian): little thing

Ames, from ames (French): souls, and aims (English): ambitions, aspirations

“Cosette di Ames” simply means “Little Things from Amy".

We design all our clothing in New York and manufacture them in our very own small production house based in Hanoi, Vietnam. Our workers are paid fair wages and we make sure to provide a good work environment for them.

We use premium fabrics, focusing on natural and regenerated fibers, pure silks and 100% organic cotton. Our pieces feel as good as they look.

We work with exclusive textiles, from customized fabrics to unique prints and patterns.

Our pieces are luxurious, but our attitude is not.
